Dr. Tera Pollock
Dr. Pollock is originally from Batesville, Arkansas. She attended the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville before moving on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Baylor College of Dentistry in 1993. She then completed a post-doctoral General Practice Residency at Detroit Receiving Hospital/University of Detroit Mercy with rotations through Children’s Hospital of Michigan. She received training in hospital dentistry as well as obtaining anesthesia permits for sedation dentistry. She started her own private practice in Southfield, Michigan before relocating to Fort Myers, Florida where she practiced pediatric dentistry for five years. Although she loved practicing in the Florida sunshine, Texas called her back where she spent almost 12 years providing dental care to kids at Rockwall Pediatric Dentistry. Today, she’s proud to be a part of Rowlett Dental Associates and continues her pediatric focused practice within their larger family practice.
Dr. Pollock is also a long-standing member of the Rockwall County Dental Society, having served as secretary since 2012. She loves many aspects about her job, including helping children smile and giggle. As a mother of three, she especially enjoys treating teenagers and “tweens” and loves being able to have a positive influence on them during those difficult middle and high school years. She is excited that by teaming with Rowlett Dental Associates, the transition from pediatric care to adult dentistry will be a virtually seamless experience for her young patients!
Dr. Tera Pollock has been married to Dr. Kevin Pollock (an oral surgeon in Rockwall) for 30 years. Together they have three children, Christian, Meredith and Lane. Her hobbies outside of dentistry include traveling, cooking, gardening, entertaining and rooting for the Texas Rangers!
